About
Bill Psarras (Greece, 1985) is a new media artist and musician currently undertaking doctoral studies at Goldsmiths University of London. He studied Audiovisual Arts at the Ionian University of Greece and obtained his MA in Digital Arts from the University of the Arts London (Camberwell College of Arts). Since October 2011, he is PhD researcher in Arts and Computational Technology of Goldsmiths University of London, conducting practice-based research on the mapping of urban non-places, emotion and walking through new media arts. He has exhibited in video and new media art festivals (Greece, UK, France, China, Australia) in galleries in Athens, London and Kiev as well as in the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2010. His publications have been presented at NECS 2012 Conference (Lisbon) AES Worldwide Convention (Munich), at International Journal of Arts & Technology (Journal) as well as at the National Museum of Contemporary Art of Thessaloniki in Greece. In 2010, he released his debut guitar instrumental album Feeding My Desire and he also runs a soundtrack project entitled Ludmilla MS.
