About

I just completed the MA programme "Transnational Communications and Global Media" at Goldsmith's College, University of London. About 5 seconds later, I started to work for a non-profit organisation that I had been involved with during my postgraduate course. Thanks to the charity Sandblast, I have developed an interest in the issues surrounding Western Sahara and its people, the Saharawi.

My MA dissertation "E-Philanthropy: NGOs, communications and the Internet" investigated the uses of ICTs by non-profit organizations with relevance to their motivations for these uses. As I am currently "practising what I preached" as part of my work for Sandblast, I hope to get a deeper insight into the difficulties and everday practices of non-profit organizations with relevance to ICTs.

At the moment, I am also looking into PhD programmes and studentships to further my studies.
