I research in 19th and 20th century literature, particularly in gender and sexuality and their intersection with narrative.
My first monograph _Homoplot: The Coming-out Story and Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Identity_ was published by Peter Lang in 2008 - see 'Books' for further information.
I am currently teaching on 'Further Studies in American Literature and Culture' (BA) at Goldsmiths, and 'Narrative and Sexuality' (MA) at the University of Westminster
