About
As an arts practitioner working with photography and web based media (new media?!?!), I have recently been ESRC funded to examine the impact and use of the arts on marginalised multiethnic youth. I am interested in the ways young people articulate and socially position themselves through the art works they engage and create. In turn, I think there is a need to discuss how the artist, researcher, or arts practitioner may treat the experiences of the youth arts process reflexively in the creation of his or her own work. You can visit www.renderingthereal.com for more info on my current project.
